Profile | System Admin (AD/Exchange) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning, testing, tuning, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange 2010 architecture as well as supporting common email applications.
• Support a multi-site Microsoft Exchange 2010 server environment.
• Administer and support Active Directory, DNS & Microsoft Exchange Systems.
• Perform general system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment.
• Systems/application deployment automation including patch management
• Manage & administer the antivirus solution
• Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and server hardware.
• Produce appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes.
• Monitor Windows 2003/2008 servers and troubleshoot problems.
• Provide a point of escalation and support to the Desktop Support group.
• Participate in limited weekend maintenance activities, as required.
• Blackberry Enterprise services support & maintenance
• Manage multi-site system backups and participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and response.
• Knowledge transfer & trainings as deemed necessary
Required Skills:
• Active Directory (windows 2008)
• Backup solutions like Symantec, DPM etc
• DHCP/DNS Mgmt
• Exchange 2010, SCOM, SCCM, Forefront
• Scripting experience preferred |
