Job Description

Position Summary
To implement and improve financial control across the company, including exception reporting, analysis, solution implementation; to review compliance with policies & procedures and statutory regulations.

Position Responsibility
-To lead and manage the designated staff with full regard to all relevant company policies and procedures.
-To be a member of Management Committees
-To develop/amend the policies and procedures for the Company
-To review and promote compliance with the Company Policies and Procedures; and Regulatory compliance across the company.
-To develop financial models for budgeting and business plans.
-To develop financial reporting formats for the periodical reports to be submitted to the management and the Board of Directors.
-To follow up with the Business Lines on the progress of implementation of business plans.
-To Develop and implement the risk management programs in a manner that fulfils the mission and strategic goals of the organisation while complying with laws & regulations and applicable Standards.
-To develop a company wide framework for exception reporting and follow up.
-To develop exception reports from financial and non-financial systems as appropriate to enhance the company's ability to identify non-compliance with relevant procedures and/or other weaknesses in financial control.
-To review exception reports generated to identify systemic themes and control issues.
-To ensure that exceptions are followed up in a systematic manner, and integrated with other financial information as appropriate.
-To understand the company's financial and other systems and how they fit into the control framework, and to make recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
-To support the company in respect of internal and external audit reports into system effectiveness.


 

  

Desired Candidate's Profile


 

 

Profile

- Education: Bachelor degree of Commerce or equivalent with accounting as option/major subject.
- Language: Read, Write and Speak English and Arabic .
- Knowledge of Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point, MS office outlook, Internet etc.,
- Certification and Licensure: CPA/CA and Member of Accounting Professional Bodies

Experience

3 - 10 years

Education

Basic - Bachelor of Commerce ( Commerce ) , PG - Chartered Accountant
