Job Description | I have recently been given an excellent opportunity for a MEP Quantity Surveyor to join one of the top Construction Contracting Company's in Doha.
The company
They have grown with and contributed to the regions emergence during their 40 year history and have a close affinity with Arabic economic, cultural and social environments. The types of projects executed and in progress include residential and commercial buildings, high rise, hospitals, universities, stadiums, hotels, shopping centres, road works and bridges, heavy infrastructure works, utilities projects, electro-mechanical installations, civil and military airport facilities, civil works related to oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
The Role
A graduate from a reputable university with minimum 9 years experience in the building services (MEP) industry as Quantity Surveyor, out of which at least 3 years as Senior Quantity Surveyor. He should be capable of handling project QS functions, contractual matters and correspondence. Knowledge of relevant computer applications for financial reporting and tracking is required. Primavera knowledge is an added advantage.
Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
1. Preferably degree qualified but not less than HNC
2. Must have experience on large scale high end projects.
3. Middle East experience is desirable.
4. Experience with contractors
